The day begins in the morning light of Sungai Petani, Kedah and travels all the way to Bukit Mertajam, Penang. For Jiawen & Horlick, the entire day was filled with a kind of warmth that felt completely natural and deep. Jiawen looked absolutely stunning in her traditional sangjit, but what really stayed with us were the raw, unscripted moments that unfolded.
My favorite shot? It had to be the exact second Horlick walked into the bridal suite. He caught one look at his bride and completely lost it, that kind of raw, honest emotion is exactly why we love what we do.
That same feeling carried through the entire morning, right down to the quiet, teary-eyed embrace Jiawen shared with her sister before they set off. It wasn’t just about the rituals or the schedule; it was about two families genuinely folding into one. Being there to capture these memories for them was a highlight for us.
